Accessibility
Trip Ease Book wants everyone to be able to read and write electric two-wheeler reviews, whatever device they use and whatever assistive technology they rely on. This page explains what we do to keep tripeasebook.com accessible, what we know still needs work, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort for us, and we review the website whenever we change its design or add new features.
2. What we have done
- Keyboard use: every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard, and the item you are on is shown with a clear outline.
- Skip link: a “Skip to content” link at the top of each page lets you jump past the header.
- Clear forms: every field in the review form has a visible label, and the star rating is a proper group of choices that works with a keyboard and screen readers.
- Messages: confirmation and error messages after you send a review are announced to screen readers.
- Ratings in text: each published review gives its rating in words (for example, “4 out of 5”) as well as with star symbols.
- Layout: pages adjust to phones, tablets and computers, and you can zoom in or enlarge text without losing content.
- Structure: pages use real headings, lists and landmarks so assistive technology can move around them easily.
3. Known limitations
We have not yet completed a full independent accessibility audit, so some barriers may remain. Areas we are watching:
- The website uses a frosted-glass design with translucent panels. We have chosen light text on dark backgrounds, but contrast can change with your screen settings and brightness. If any text is hard to read, please tell us.
- Reviews are written by visitors. We check them before publishing, but we cannot control spelling, formatting or the clarity of what people write.
- Pages we add later, such as policy pages, may take a little time to be reviewed for accessibility.
4. Make your device work better for you
You can also adjust your own device or browser so the website suits you. Examples include increasing text size, changing colours or contrast, using a screen reader, reducing motion, or controlling the computer by voice. AbilityNet offers free step-by-step guidance for this at My Computer My Way.
5. Feedback and help
If you find something on the website that is hard to use, or you have an idea for making it better, please let us know. Tell us the page link, what went wrong, and what device, browser or assistive technology you were using. If you cannot use a part of the website, we will try to give you the information another way, for example by email.
